36 WEEK UPDATE!!

Well, only 4 weeks left to go. Dwayne and I can't believe it! We have started visiting the Dr. every week. Last week we got the news that he was breech. I spent the week trying different things that would hopefully help him turn. I tried holding me knees to me chest, which as you can tell looks so lovely, and putting a bag of ice on my stomach. Peyton did not like either one of them. He moved around, but not a lot.

Well, we visited the Dr. again at 36 weeks and we were prepared to discuss a c-section. We were pleasantly surprised though with the u/s to see that his head is down and in the perfect position. He looked so good and is so cute. We were happy and so was the Dr. She said that their is a lot of amniotic fluid so he could flip again, but we will pray that he stays in position. The Dr. also told us that I am 1 cm thin ( whatever that means!!) I guess I have progressed since last week. She recommended lots of walking and something else that Dwayne is just smiling from ear to ear about ( you all know what I am talking about!!)

So, we will follow her directions and will see how things are next week. Please continue to keep us and Peyton in your prayers. We are so excited to see him. We are hoping for a quick and calm delivery!!

33 Week Update!!

Well, we have made it to 33 weeks and 2 days. I had a Dr's appointment on Tuesday morning and everything looks good. Peyton is still head down, so he is ready. I have been feeling pretty good. I started back to work. I have 4 to 5 patients that I see 2x every week. It feels really good to get out and be in the real world.

Peyton is still very active, and he gets the hiccups 2-3 times a day. Dwayne and I are really enjoying watching him move around. We are both getting very anxious to see what he looks like.

Thank you so much, everyone for all your prayers. We are glad that we have made it this far and we hope that he will stay in the oven a little longer.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We will keep you updated throughout the next few weeks!!
