Congratulations BIGGIO!!!!

Dwayne, Peyton and I witnessed Biggio make his 3000th Hit. It was awsome. The stadium went crazy. Peyton really enjoys the Astros games as you have seen in a previous post.

It was a really special moment in Astro's history to be a part of. We actually were about to leave because Peyton was getting a little restless, but we are so glad that we stayed. We have the whole thing on video, but it it 8 minutes long and would take 5 hours to upload on the computer.

Here is a picture of the 3000th hit!! Priceless!!!!!

Peyton's New Bathroom

This past weekend, Peyton and I had some fun while Daddy was in Oklahoma fishing. We decided to paint his bathroom. My friend Tara from church, who is very artistic, came over to help me. Her husband was gone for the weekend too, so Peyton had a friend to play with while we painted ( Emily is 3 weeks older than Peyton). Peyton's bathroom is decorated with frogs, so we got really creative. The frogs that are up on the wall, are actually suppose to be at the bottom of the bathtub to keep Peyton from sliding, but they won't stick. So, we literally had to plaster them to the wall.

Peyton loves his new bathroom, as you can see in the pictures. (Thank you Tara!!)

First illness

Well, I took Peyton took the Dr.'s this morning because he has been running a fever for over 24 hours. The Dr. did some blood work and found that he has a viral infection. He has been doing better today. He did not run a fever all day until 5pm, and then he only had a fever for about an hour. I am hoping that this viral infection is on the downhill side.

Peyton has been in pretty good spirits though. He has been sleeping through the night, and has not been too fussy. Thank you all so much for your prayers!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!!! This is a special day for Dwayne because, it is his first Father's Day. Dwayne has not had the day or the weekend that he would have hoped for. Peyton started running a high fever yesterday afternoon, and is still running a fever. So, we have been home with a sick child for the first time for Father's Day. It's okay though. We are having some good family time laying around the house. Peyton has been very cuddly. I am taking him to the Dr. tomorrow to see what is wrong with him. He is cutting one of his top teeth, but I don't think that they can run 103 temperature when they are teething.

Anyway, I have attached a picture slide of Peyton at 8 months. My friend came over and took another 150 pictures. Again, they were all good. One of the picture's in the slide show is a Father's Day picture that Peyton surprised Da-Da with this morning. Enjoy!! Please keep Peyton in your prayers!!

Learning New Things

Well, I can't believe that June is half over. Here in Houston, it is already in the upper 90's with a heat index over 100 degrees. Peyton has already become a water baby. It is too hot to be outside unless you are in the pool.

This past weekend, Dwayne's parents were here. We had a great time. We took them to see Peyton at Gymboree class, took them to our neighborhood pool, and went to Galveston. Peyton had a good time with his Grandparents.

Over the last couple of weeks, Peyton has learned to cruise the floor better backwards. He is just beginning to try to get up on his knees and rock back and forth. I will bet that he will be crawling in the next couple of weeks. I am not sure that I am ready for all this cruising.

Peyton is also getting another tooth. He got his two bottom teeth at 6 months, and one of his front tooth's is coming in . He is really not liking it. He did not sleep through the night for a week and has been a little fussy. I thought at first that it was a cold, but then I saw what was causing it. It is about the break through the skin. He is grinding his bottom teeth on the new tooth. It makes me kringe

Peyton has also learned how to wave bye-bye. It is so cute to see his language and understanding develope. I am so PROUD!!!! In Blog near you, Peyton Russell Seeber speaking in 5 words sentences!! (sorry, this is the speech therapist in me!!)

We are so excited for the summer. We have some fun trips planned. July 4th we are flying with another couple from church to the BIG APPLE. Peyton's first trip to New York. We are so excited. He will be staying will Grammy and Papa in the apartment most of the time while we are out touring. Grammy does not want to take Peyton out in the city too much!! At the end of July, we are driving to Grand Lake in Oklahoma visit GG, Aunt Shari and Uncle Dave, and Aunt Carol and Uncle Brian. Peyton will swim in the lake that I grew up in for the first time. His life jacket and little baby ski's are ready for him. He WILL learn to ski!!

Then our last trip for the summer, at the end of August is to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to my 10 year High School Reunion. I can't believe that it has been 10 years.

Well, needless to say, we are going to be busy. I have attached a couple of videos of Peyton waving bye-bye, and him finding a new toy. Enjoy.

Everyone have a safe and happy summer!!!

Peyton's First Day at Bible Class

Peyton started Bible Class yesterday. He started class with his two friends Blake and Corbin. They are all the same age. I was a little sad, because my baby boy is growing up so big. As I put him in the seat at the table, I was just imagining taking him to his first day of kindergarten.

When we sat him at the table, he started talking and patting his hands on the table. He was excited. The teacher said when we picked him up that he did great. He did not cry once. He didn't even cry when he saw me when I picked him up. He was having a great time with his friends.

Here are some pictures of Peyton with his friends Blake and Corbin sitting at the table ready to learn about Jesus! Enjoy!
