Peyton Eating His First Food!

We have attached a couple videos of Peyton eating his first food. His first food was green beans. As you will see in the video, he did not like them. I tried them for 2 days and he still would not eat them. So, we are now eating sweet peas. He loves them. I am attempting to make his baby food. We will see how it goes. Enjoy these classic videos!!!

How CUTE!!!! He is so precious. I predict that he will like green beans later. You are smart starting him on veggies instead of fruit. I made that mistake and then the kids didn't want anything but fruit - forget the veggies. He is getting so big and growing so fast. I love these blogs. Thanks again for sharing them.

Love you,
GG

I found a really great book before I started feeding Gavin - it was super for early foods and even now has great toddler food - It is called - First Meals by Annabel Karmel. It is a lot of work - but I think really worth it!
Great stuff Mindy!

Wow....I'm amazed by how much he's grown and all that he's doing. I'm going to have to check this blog more often or he'll be graduating from first grade before I know it! He is so darn cute and Carol I agree - I sure see his Papa in his expressions. (Papa - that means you were pretty darn cute when you were little too - did we ever tell you that?(^_^)) You look like you're having a lot of fun and that's a great thing....treasure it all! My "baby" turns 31 today and my other "baby" turns 35 tomorrow! Whew-the time has flown but I still remember when they were Peyton's age! I think my boys had exactly the same reaction to green beans! :)
Love you lots,
Aunt Fran

Just be thankful he doesn't have reflux like Kiley did. It was soooo much fun when she started eating green beans, sweet potatoes, squash, etc. We'd be walking through the room and all of a sudden we'd step in something green or orange, whatever, and knew Kiley had thrown up her veggies!! :) He is such a doll!! I just love those baby giggles!!

Love you,
Aunt Carol

These videos just make me laugh and cry (definitely a Russell trait). I love the gag too. That is so "baby". I know it seems cruel, but I still think it's funny to see a baby gag. And those "baby chuckles" are just too cute! Thanks for sharing!

Love you guys!
