Peyton's First Christmas
We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a wonderful time. It was so much fun having Peyton. He enjoyed all the Christmas food and the gifts.
Grammy, Papa, GG, Aunt Lezlie, and Uncle Scott joined us on Christmas day. This was the first and probably not the last Christmas (opening presents) that lasted till 11am. Peyton is just a little spoiled.
One of the most memorable moments was when we were all dressed in our matching pajamas. Peyton looked so cute in his pajamas and Santa hat.
We hope and pray that all of you have a blessed New Year and a safe Holiday Season
We love you all!!!

8 Weeks Old and Growin Big!!!
Peyton is now 8 weeks old. We cannot believe it. On December 14th Peyton went for his 8 week checkup which included his shots. He now weighs 10.8 lbs and is 23 inches long. He did pretty well with his shots, however Dwayne had to hold his hands. I was more nervous than Peyton, and just about as teary:(
Peyton is really developing. He is smiling and cooing a lot. He is so cute when he is cooing. It makes me cry every time. We are looking forward to him continuing to change.
We are really excited for Peyton's first Christmas. We are staying home and my family is coming over. We have lots of neat Christmas traditions that we are excited to share with Peyton. We all wear matching pajamas Christmas Eve and play a new family game. We eat crackers, cheese, and sausage and have lots of fun. Christmas morning we open presents and then eat breakfast pizza. It is so neat that Peyton will be able to spend Christmas with his Grammy, Papa, and Great Grandma (GG).
We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas Holiday. I will post a new blog after Christmas.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

Peyton 6 Weeks Old
Peyton is now 6 weeks old, soon to be 7 weeks. We can't believe it. He has gotten so big, but he is getting cutier every day!!!! We had a friend from church who's hobby is photography come over and take some pictures of Peyton. She was at our house for 30 minutes and took over 200 pictures. I don't think that we have enough pictures of our son!! The pictures turned out so good!!! I have posted a few of our favorites.
Well, Dwayne took his first business trip from Sunday to Tuesday. He called me about 4 times a day and I asked him who he missed most. Of course I told he to tell the truth, and he said what I hoped he would: PEYTON!!!
We are so excited for Chistmas with Peyton! I tried not to go crazy on Christmas presents.
We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas Holiday!!

Peyton's First Thanksgiving 2006
We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. We had a very relaxing weekend at home with Dwayne's parents.
We started the day by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Peyton was so excited to watch his first parade.
Peyton, later that day enjoyed sitting in his swing at the dinner table. He really wished that he could have sat at the table and ate the food with us, but he did get some Thanksgiving food in a different form (milk!!).
After lunch Peyton enjoyed a nice nap with the sound of football in the background.
When Peyton woke up he enjoyed a good game of football with his daddy!!
We had a wonderful time with our son for his first Thanksgiving. We are now looking forward to his first Christmas!
Happy Holidays!!

4 week old Dr. Appointment
Peyton had his 4 week old Dr. Appointment today. He is now 9.6 lbs and 22 inches long. The Dr. said he is in the 50th percentile for weight and height. I am so proud!!! He has really grown over the last few weeks. My Grandmother said that it is like watching the grass grow, and she is so right. He is changing every day.
We hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. Dwayn's parents are flying into town tomorrow and will be here till Sunday. We are looking forward to Peyton's first Thanksgiving.
I have attached a couple of new pictures of Peyton. The picture of him smiling has been a picture that I have been trying to get for weeks. You almost have to sit with the camera on him at all times to catch all the cute things that he does.

CHANGING EVERY DAY!!!!
Hi everyone. You can tell my life has changed forever. I am typing this blog with one hand, holding Peyton with the other and bouncing on the body ball (which he loves). I am learning to multi-task one-handed!!!! Oh, and Dwayne and I got a huge reality check the other night when we were unable to finish a movie. I am loving and cherishing every minute of it and would not have it any other way!!
Peyton is changing every day. He has definitely gotten bigger and is starting to coo. He is a really good baby.
I have attached some more pictures. Peyton goes back to the Dr. in about a week, so we will see how big he has gotten. One of the pictures is of Peyton meeting his new friend Blake from church. Blake is 10 days older than Peyton.
Enjoy the Pictures!!!

Baby Peyton is Here!!!!
Peyton Russell Seeber was born on October 19th at 1:15pm. Mindy and I went into the hospital on the 19th in labor around 1am. Peyton was born by C-Section due to Mindy running a little fever and Peyton not in the right position for natural birth. Mindy and Peyton are doing great. Peyton spent 48 hours in the NICU to recieve antibiotics because he had a little fever when he was born too. Peyton is now moving to regular newborn nursery and we hope to go home tomorrow or Monday.
Peyton is beautiful and definitely has some good looks!!!! We will update the blog again with pictures when we get home from the hospital.
Thank you all so much for your prayers for the last 9 months. God has blessed us so much with this bundle of joy!!!! We are ready to raise him in the Lord and watch him grow up big and strong!!!
Love you all

37 weeks
We finally made it to OCTOBER!!!! We cannot believe that we are going to be parents in a few short weeks. We are so excited. We had another Dr.'s appointment today. I am 1 cm dilated and 30% effaced. So, I guess we are on the right track. I am just going to continue walking a lot!!! We did get one final picture of Peyton in an ultra sound. The Dr has been doing ultra sounds to make sure that he has not flipped. He is still head down and that we are happy about. I think that he is out of room to move breech again! Here is a side view of his face! You can see the nose and lips real good!! He is so precious!!
Dwayne and I put the car seat base in the car and all of our hospital bags are in our bedroom ready to go. We are ready whenever Peyton is! Please continue to keep us in your prayers!
Love you all!! Dwayne and Mindy

36 WEEK UPDATE!!
Well, only 4 weeks left to go. Dwayne and I can't believe it! We have started visiting the Dr. every week. Last week we got the news that he was breech. I spent the week trying different things that would hopefully help him turn. I tried holding me knees to me chest, which as you can tell looks so lovely, and putting a bag of ice on my stomach. Peyton did not like either one of them. He moved around, but not a lot.
Well, we visited the Dr. again at 36 weeks and we were prepared to discuss a c-section. We were pleasantly surprised though with the u/s to see that his head is down and in the perfect position. He looked so good and is so cute. We were happy and so was the Dr. She said that their is a lot of amniotic fluid so he could flip again, but we will pray that he stays in position. The Dr. also told us that I am 1 cm thin ( whatever that means!!) I guess I have progressed since last week. She recommended lots of walking and something else that Dwayne is just smiling from ear to ear about ( you all know what I am talking about!!)
So, we will follow her directions and will see how things are next week. Please continue to keep us and Peyton in your prayers. We are so excited to see him. We are hoping for a quick and calm delivery!!

33 Week Update!!
Well, we have made it to 33 weeks and 2 days. I had a Dr's appointment on Tuesday morning and everything looks good. Peyton is still head down, so he is ready. I have been feeling pretty good. I started back to work. I have 4 to 5 patients that I see 2x every week. It feels really good to get out and be in the real world.
Peyton is still very active, and he gets the hiccups 2-3 times a day. Dwayne and I are really enjoying watching him move around. We are both getting very anxious to see what he looks like.
Thank you so much, everyone for all your prayers. We are glad that we have made it this far and we hope that he will stay in the oven a little longer.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We will keep you updated throughout the next few weeks!!

UPDATE
Mindy went to her doctor's appt. today, and to our surprise, she has not progressed any further in labor!!! (Even though she was averaging 26.5 CS/day for the last week). Anyway, she is no longer on STRICT bedrest, but has been suggested her to take it "easy". Thank you so much for all of your prayers!!! Even though it looks like Peyton may stay in the oven a little longer (which is a good thing), we still are taking it day by day. Mindy is planning on going back to work next week for a few hours a day. She is ready to get off the couch and out of the house!!! We just wanted to thank you for all the prayers during this past week, and ask for continued prayers as we enter the 32nd week!! We will keep you posted as the days go by!!!!

BED REST = WATCHING GRASS GROW
Now that Mindy is on strict bed rest, all we can do is post pictures of her in the black hole. My mom has been real good about tracking her contractions. She is averaging between 20-35/day, with no pattern. At this rate, I will have to shave Mindy's head...... because I'm sure she'll pull it out in a few weeks anyway.
Peyton is still a maniac late at night, moving around like crazy......looking like a little alien in Mindy's tummy. We pray that he will stay in the oven day after day. I know it's hard because we all want to meet our little bundle of joy, but the longer he stays in, the better it will be. I pray that Mindy will be able to handle bedrest until he is born, as that is what I believe the doctor will tell us.
Well, here is some pics of Mindy.......you can see that Bruiser is helping keep her company, but is still deathly afraid of her tummy. We also took some pics of the contractions she is having, which is interesting. Some last 30 seconds, others 2 minutes. FUN!!!! I also put a pic of our new glider in Peyton's bedroom.
